Here we are in Abashiri Harbour in the north-eastern part of the island of Hokkaido, where Marukawa Asakura Shoten, the captain of a trawler sailing through the ice, lives. At night, when the temperatures fall and forecasting along the route is tricky, the journey is difficult.
